Service Description

NOTE: THIS WORKSHOP ALSO INCLUDES REHEARSAL TIME SAT 2-4 PM This workshop focuses on developing collaborative aerial performance skills, culminating in a short (5-15 minute) performance. Participants will explore group dynamics and creative composition through partner interactions on the floor and in the air, including synchronization, mirroring, tableau, skills/transitions as motifs, and movements in cannon. The emphasis is on ensemble cohesion, developing trusting relationships with one another and creating lasting collaborative bonds. The target audience is intermediate aerialists with a solid foundation of aerial technique who are ready to explore group-based movement. Some performance and partnering experience is a plus, but not a prerequisite. Multiple apparatus of the same type, several different apparatus, one apparatus to be shared, are all possibilities to be explored.
