Service Description

Adapting skills to meet students where they are is an essential piece of any coach's toolkit. When coaching students who are neurodivergent or disabled, this becomes even more important. After all, circus can be accessible for anyone and we all benefit from seeing more diverse and interesting stories and ways of moving both onstage and in the gym. This class will cover: - Student assessment/check ins - Using environmental and task constraints to aid implicit learning - Trauma informed coaching practices - Gamifying learning (making learning rewarding and intrinsically fun) Prerequisites: Eagerness to learn and discuss! Mercury will be available to chat about this stuff before, after, whenever! They just want more people to feel more able to take on students who have disabilities :)
